The Paranormal History
The centuries of reported paranormal activity behind the Old Arnold Estate — from colonial-era folklore to the events that inspired a film watched around the world.
A Reputation Centuries in the Making
The Old Arnold Estate, also known as “The Conjuring House,” is located in Harrisville, R.I., and is an authentic colonial home, circa 1736, whose paranormal phenomena were made famous by The Conjuring movie in 2013 depicting the hauntings of the Perron family that lived there in the 1970s. Believed by many to be the most haunted house in the world, its paranormal past runs deep, as far back as the 1700s when the spirits of native tribes remained embedded in the land, up through the present day with the many spirits who continue to inhabit and visit the property.
Set on nearly 9 acres and surrounded by stone walls, open grounds, a river, and forest, visitors come from around the world. The Conjuring House is a beautiful and historic property.
Some of the paranormal community’s best-known investigators and creators have visited The Conjuring House and documented their own experiences on the property. These videos were independently produced by their respective creators and are not owned, produced, or endorsed by The Conjuring House — they’re shared here via YouTube’s embedded player, with full credit to each channel, to showcase visitor experiences on the property.
